Now-a-days, the most frequent question or objection against Islam is it does not ensure the equal rights between man and woman. In other words, it deprived women from their logical rights. This book containing Dr. Zakir Naik’s lecture on ‘Women’s Right in Islam’ gives satisfactory answer to the question or objection. To me, the lecture has been given by Dr. Zakir Naik on just time when all over the world the question of women’s right has been a burning question or apple of discord. The lecture discussed about the spiritual, economical, social, educational, legal and political rights granted and approved under Islamic shadow towards the women. What we, the general people, often mistake to understand that Islam ensures equal rights to both men and women as an overall aspect. That means, in some aspect women are ahead of men, where in some other aspect men are ahead of women. The critics of Islam just pick up those points which seem to go against the women without considering those which are in favor of women. However, this book is a good answer to those people who maintain double standard on the question of women’s right in Islam.
